A Luxman M-120A. 2x120W or 1x300W bridged. RMS.

This thing is from the era when they knew how to make proper electronics. Just look at the size of that transformer!

Think your computer has a big cooler with thick heatpipes? Well, it doesn't. They're thicker than my dick. Fuck.

This thing is sexy. Only sucks that I managed to bust a cap in it when I was testing it, so I'll have to wait for a while for new ones to arrive before really using it Not that I wasn't prepared, as you can't expect 25-year-old caps to fully function.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Because Jenspm is a faggot, here is a comparison between a normal audio transformer, and the Luxman one.

Normal audio transformer (Pioneer A-335):

The Luxman audio transformer:

Spot the difference?

Got some misc. peripherals today. Mostly that kind of stuff you always seem to have lying around.

https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb8/Freezer7Pro/IMG_0002-2.jpg

Pictured:
Cheap Logitech keyboard for secondary PC (Using a 1998 IBM board now lawl)
Cheap Samsung SATA DVD drive
Cheap Kingston card reader
MX518 rev.3 (1800DPI, bigger feet than earlier revs)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro for my 4800+

Not pictured:
1GB CF card (In camera)
8GB Kingston Data Traveler 100 USB stick
4x 10A transistors for an old LCD power supply

The new MX518 is pretty nice compared to my old rev.1 from 2005, which is pretty well used.

Comparison:

KRK-RP10s (400€=526$)

Cables (100€=131$)

Setup (over 1k for PC audio only)
https://www.digital-sickness.net/Uploader/files/5/krk-rp10s1000-3.jpg

The sub is extremely loud at almost absolute minimum. The doors will need to be replaced (again) as they vibrate too much when the sub is on.
Another 600€ to be spend on audio within a month, not saying what but a hint-it has tubes

My HD4850 packed in a few weeks ago, it was under warranty so I requested a replacement but they were out of stock, so for an extra £4 I got this:
