The Andromeda Strain (an older Michael Crichton; book movie)
Terminator 2 - Judgement Day (just was better than the first)
Alien (the first was the best IMO)
The Matrix (this one is the only good one; the classic mythical tale; Joseph Campbell's the hero's journey from the ordinary man perspective)
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (The first Mad Max - seemed like it had audio problems)
Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan (a loose adaption of Moby Dick)
Jurassic Park (T-Rex CGI debut in the rain, that alone was worth the price of admission)
The Thing (The scene where they are tied to their chairs and they're testing to see who's the thing - awesome scene!)
Videodrome ("Long live the new flesh!")
Flash Gordon (This one I liked, it isn't really good but I liked it and I liked the Queen soundtrack)
Donnie Darko (Time warp bunny with a steel face - what more does a movie need?)
The fly (that movie is a Cronenberg masterpiece "Drink deep or taste not the plasma spring!")

Starman (I am sentimental - this movie is charming IMO)

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Mash potato mountain mania man!)
Altered States (I really liked this one - when it came out)

1984 (Richard Burton's last major performance in a movie - I think?)
The Final Cut (A nice little movie)
Being John Malkovich (This is science fiction - right?)
Frequency (I like father son movies - so I liked this movie)
The one (Jet Li in an OK sci-fi movie, eh I liked it)
