Or do we have to see oil around $70 before we see any appreciable difference?

- Now that Oil is under $100/barrel, how much of a stimulus will it be?
Once they know they can get away with these prices I don't think its going to go back down much.
Im buying more food thats a +1, but you're right i think $70 is +100
None, as prices are still ~$3.50 a gallon. Fuckers.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
It can't hoiyt.
the math is simple, for every $20.00 crude drops the gas will go down 2 cents at the pump... i cant believe you didn't know that
They pass on cost increases to the consumer in a heartbeat, but not so much the other way.
I just paid $3.47/gallon...the price dropped about $0.50/gallon here in the past month.Bell wrote:

Someone once told me that oil barrel prices are often displayed in terms of futures. Basically, you don't get cheaper gas at the pumps until a few weeks after oil goes under 100 a barrel. Give it time, didn't it only go under a few days ago?

I just filled for 3.27Hurricane2k9 wrote:

I just want gas to be back to like $1.40 for premium. Those were the days.

I remember 0.27 a gallon.

My town has some of the highest gas prices in the country, and gas is 3.96 at one place. a block up the street it's 3.87, and a block up from there it's 3.84. There's another one two blocks from that one and it's 3.89.
The first one is an Exxon and it gets the most customers. Also those are the only four gas stations in my town and they are all on one street, and my town has moar people in it than the one that Palin used to mayor.

dont wish for low oil prices. It just means world wide depression. some asshole said they could go as low as $50 per barrel. with a heaping spoonful of economic collapse.
oil is low? time to buy some stock.

when it went to 145 a barrel that was like a 70% increase but they only increased the gas prices 45% so you cant expect it to go down as much as crude oil is because there paying off what they lost from not totally fucking us over.
you kninda get where im going?
That's right.. but when it goes up it's immediate ..Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Xbone Stormsurgezz
Actually they raised fuel prices on the Airlines to like $7/gallon. Basically they saw that they could raise prices on Airlines more and get away with it instead of passing all the costs evenly to Joe-six-pack.SealXo wrote:
