How did you get the taskbar to become transparent? It looks nicer than it being solid.
As long as nothing's maximized, and you're using the Aero theme, it should be transparent.

That's weird. Mine is transparent but only when I pull something underneath it.konfusion wrote:

hmm, it's apparently already set to Aero, but even when I don't have anything maximized, it's barely transparent (if it's even transparent at all). Strange, although it's not a big deal.konfusion wrote:

If you're using Vista, there should be a preferences button in the theme folder.Smithereener wrote:

If you're using Windows Blinds for XP, you need to configure the transparency.

Curious on how often people change their desktop, for me its a week or two max...
I don't understand the fascination with docks .
Windows Key + R = Run.
firefox.exe (or whatever else).
And why don't people just link folders on the taskbar instead of having a pointless desktop shortcut .

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
For a long time, I didn't understand it either, I tried installing them multiple times, but never used them,Uzique wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
