So the thing is one card just doesn't cut it anymore. This girl I hang out together and play games with is praising my current 8800GT Snow White Edition xxx but she says I should fill in both pci-e slots. I know its expensive but I must make the girl satisfied so we can continue playing strategy games together. Any recommendations what to get? And this isn't in tech cos i need more suggestions. Go.

$600-1000, assuming you don't mean the REALLY top notch shit, but that will get you to running all current gen games on max no problem. (excluding crysis)

Also depends a lot on whether you need case, monitor, mouse, keyboard, hard drive(s), power supply, that kind of shit.

edit: friend just bought a pretty good box from the ground up, no peripherals for I think $600 WITHOUT graphics card, and he kinda skimped on the mobo. I would tack on at least another $200 for that stuff, and that would get you a pretty darn good box.
