You asked me to define good art, at what stage did I say I go around tagging?

You said if it was art, then you should leave it be. I said define art. You did. I say if you want to put art as you have defined it up in the city, you should get a permit. It would be impossible to get a permit without defining what art is.

Permits cost money and take time to process. Art isn't about that - Now while I agree that a lot of graffiti is bad and often makes a place look ugly, I've seen some amazing pieces in places where it isn't harming anyone (for instance, I dislike graffiti on any form of monument or public building (such as a library) regardless of the piece) that almost seem as if they've been put to waste.

I think that if it's 10 PM, nothing good is on telly and you've got a few cans, you should be able to go out and draw a pretty picture that very few are going to see without the fear of being shot.
