No, the animals i'm talking about were literally born, to die.

Humans aren't meant to die, nor is anything else born freely like humans.
Im actually 500 years old.

k.  Lets not eat at all, since eating itself is part of the food chain.  According to this idiot we can still live.

I'm not against eating meat, I merely joined the conversation once it turned to using the food chain as evidence that it's ok to slaughter animals.  If we could just admit we do it out of selfishness, it would be much easier on my ears.

Eat meat, do what you want.  I just wanted to show that we don't have to...
Question: Do we have enough vegetables to serve 3 meals to 6.7 billion people every day?
Would be bloody easy, and less consuming compared to breeding animals for food.

You do realize that to get one meat meal, ten vegetable meals will have to be fed to an animal. Even more.

But if we stop killing the animals, it would still eat the grass, wouldn't it?
I never said we should stop killing animals, human is a carnivore. Hunting just is not a way to survive for us anymore, it comes off our selfishness.

Wild animals just taste better than the bred ones.

so, if we were to live on pure vegetables, we would have to kill animals, and not eat them, which is even worse.

I just want to say, I personally think it's cool that he and his family did that together.  I could never harpoon a whale, much respect.

I merely entered the foray after humans hunting out of need came into debate.

No harm Sydney?

Once again, go back to the porn and let the thinkers talk.  You just muddy up the conversation with your lame ass tendencies toward weak arguments.

I know that, I love hunting and the taste of wild animals.

Also, breeding is not too efficient anyways. It always makes me facepalm when people talk about poor africans starving, and then go eat some beef which has been bred off 100 rice meals of africans.

And lol at Jennifer <3

I could probably fight with you for days, but I don't have time for that now. Just FYI, turning discussions into flamefests and starting to insult people you discuss with, is not the way to go. Unlike you seem to think.

Well then irony on haze's part.  I post a viable argument to his position, and he decides to insult my intelligence.  So what, i prefer to present my opinions in 1 sentence as opposed to a fucking essay; if it gets my point across just as effectively then i will and save myself a lot of time in the process.  The point is, he tries to avoid my argument for whatever reason, so i wonder who should actually step aside and let the big boys talk.

And your's arent? Dont make me laugh.  How long did you think about that humans-have-evolved crap?  Not a lot probably.  Yes i knew exactly what you were trying to prove, but what you presented was about as unoriginal and generic as anything i have posted.  So, instead of avoiding my arguments because i didn't go to oxford to study english for the sole purpose of trumping people on an internet forum, perhaps you can disprove my points, and explain why, if thats not too hard for you.

I dunno,MAYBE because whales are endangered species?
10 years ago maybe.

The minke whale base has never been recorded as populated as it is today, which is why we started hunting them again.
Still no excuse, when most of Australia, and the world for that matter is against hunting and whaling, you feed the japanese market with demand and they keep whaling. Simple as that. The whole scientific reasons thing is just a loophole ruse.

Actually, we feed the Japanese market with SUPPLY, not demand. We hunt them and sell to the japs.

I find that mildly offensive.

But mainly humerous.
