Prestige Mode Guide

As you may or not now, Prestige Mode is only on consoles. I've seen a few people wanting to know about it more, but internet ino is scarce.

Once you hit level 55, you have the chance to go back down to level 1 with a different logo. By doing this you lose all challenges, camos, weapons etc, and the only thing you keep is your rank. You can do this anywhere up to 10 times. Below is a picture of the logos.

So most of the people on PS3 are around Level 1 - 2. To get to Prestige 10, you need something like 500,000 points.

I saw some guy trying to start a PC version of Prestige.
He wouldn't shut up about how he put "][" in front of his name to show he reset his ranks.

I'm at prestige 2, been sat at lvl 55 for ages. If i'd done it every chance i had, i'd probably be at the start of presitge 5 now.

Dont you have the ability to have other custom slots if you do prestige? Thats one thing I want, the default suck and 5 is hardly enough, especially when there is no way to know what map is next.

Nope. You go back to the start, and go back to where you would be back at Level 55.

Prestige 4 level 45 its kinda getting boring now i just lost like 5000exp for tking everyone in Hardcore SD lol. (Xbox360) My one friend on the 360 is ranked in the top15 he has 34day in hours played i dont know how he isnt sick of it. So im guessing everyone on the PS3 has a life? Also you just lose your rank, weapons, and challenges you dont lose you global stats i.e Headshot, Wins, Kills etc and you still can choose a clantag. To get to 1 Prestige takes me about 24hours but i should be at Prestige 5 because i fooled around and got the Gold AK legitimently which took 24hours.

What? Do you mean points or XP? My XP is stuck at 125,940 and if I went into prestige it would go back to 0. I still gain points though..

If I had gone into Prestige Mode and gone into every one since I would be on like Prestige 4 I think.

I bought it the week it came out, and have played fairly steadily since, and i have 4-5 days played...
