Not able to run...

All right i got Cod4 yesterday and i played a little on singleplayer mode.. Very nice and fun altrough i have settings to about medium... Now when i play multiplayer i cranked the settings down because i didnt want any lag... But i lag like crazy!! Even with everything at low or off and a resolution like my desktop (1024*728) its still a little laggy and im no match for killing anyone!

I have 7600GT , amd X2 3800+ , and 2gb of ram ... I thouht i would at least be able to run at low!!!

Anyone can help me to tune anything or tell me if you have similar rig and play the game...

The specs for CoD4 are pretty low, I think your computer have a problem!

You're 7600 meets the minimum, but not the recommended. There's your problem. And yes you should have multiple svchost exe's running.

Crap my buddy's gonna be mad cause I told him my old 7600GS (that I'm selling him) would be able to run it. lol.

I have a 7600GS, C2D e6400, one GB of ram and Norton slowing down and hogging my resources, and I can still play on medium settings with specular map and shadows.

All right yesterday i restarted my pc to remove these svchost that where like 30k-26k kb each and then after i was able to play normally i lefted the setting to low but in single player i play with good settings...

And its soo funny how you get rank so fast !
