Bravo! Encore, oh wait you are encoring I cant wait to really get in to this more. I have played BF2 coming up on 2 freaking years, and yes I'm growing very bored of it. I played PR last night and had some great rounds. Played a few on single player games earlier today, just to figure out what the PR wiki was talking about. Yes read the short wiki it makes all the differance in enjoying the PR experience.
But tonight took the cake. I can honestly say the last game I played on PR was the best game EVA! Squad Score over 2200, Team score over 4600 points. The scores don't matter, however they are the result of long firefights and coordinated attacks and CP defenses. The other team won with over 4900 points and only 27 more tickets, but I know that one in my squad was very disappointed, we kicked some ass! I will be playing alot more of PR than Vanilla, that is for sure.

Something just crossed my mind... squads of 8 would be great.

lol, they need an animator you still pull the pin out of the rock

Its good though. Ive only played a small amount of the new basrah, but the civs seem to be working much better then I though.

Still not big of some of the medic changes, but .6 should be pretty sweet, and Bi Ming is the sexiest night map Ive played.

Squads max is hard coded

PR gives out points like cheerleaders give handjobs. Even the worst players will easily break 100...

I haven't playd 0.6 so much, only Mestia, Kashan and of course Basra (only as Brits both sides pretty balanced out). Kashan desert is a nice map, just not enough transport, especially if you flip over your car in the middle of the desert and run a km to the next apc.. Still, I like iiiiiiiit

Not much. When you get shot by a rifle round or two you start to get all blurry and coughing/bleeding noises. You then need to crack out the bandages/field aid and sort yourself out for abit, then head over to a medic to get healed. Most of the time you're dead lol, it's about not getting shot in the first place. Well that's how it was in 0.5

Must get a new computer so i can play PR again, 0.6 looks awesome. Any videos of the PPSH? I wonder if they made it like CoD or like RO. Both were unrealistic. CoD had to little recoil and RO had recoil as if it was firing tank shells @ 900rpm

You need to press you key assigned to "parachute" (default is 9). Its a bug
Same goes for the militias "scout" class.

I remember that round, we owned it sooo much that it wasnt even funny at the end.

And yeah thats a squad bug. Only 5 of those 7 squad members were actually in the squad. 2 of them just though they were but they couldnt spawn on SL, spawn on the rally, request kits, use squad chat and VOIP etc.
Its a rare bug but when it happens you are screwed because you are not in that squad and you cant join any other squad because the game thinks that you are already in a squad. Only fix is to restart BF2/2142/PR/POE/DCON/NS

alright well i tried it out last night but i'm confused about the civilian class.from what i read you can't kill civilians,but whenever i got close with my precious rocks i was quickly gunned down(i managed to get about 5 people with those things though ).is there at least some sort of penalty for killing civilians?

Seriously though, the squad bug DOES put 7 names in the list...And I think all 7 can use voip together... but for many squad functions on 6 of the squad are actually recognized by the game.

In my experiance only 6 players are still registered by the game as in the squad, because when Ive been the seventh I couldn't leave the squad, join any others, spawn on SL, ect ect.....Basically the only difference from lone wolfing was that I could use Voip, and my name showed on the squad list.

yup, you did good, IIRC they get ticket penalties for gunning down civs..

You can only legitimately run them over or knife them....

yup, you did good, IIRC they get ticket penalties for gunning down civs..

You can only legitimately run them over or knife them....
in the final version there will be a hand cuffing animation for the civs when they get capped u will have to use hand cuffs to get them it will be so cool

I was initialy a real big critic of who the hell would want to play as a civ too....

It works better then it sounds in actual game play....Civs are the medics, engineers, and the one with the grappling hook.

They are also great for recon. You can't shoot them with out a ticket penelty, so you have to get within arms range to get rid of them.

They work GREAT for traps...Im sure people will learn, but its pretty easy to to have one civ "Hide" a little out in the open....When the brit comes for him he run into a room or behind a wall, where two more guys are waiting with shot guns and rifles.


The rocks make noise when they hit near you, they also do a small amount of damage. They basically just piss off the enemy...

Thats the plan with civilians.
And you use them in game to spot enemies, draw them out in the open etc. They are a big distraction when they are near you (as GB).
