This movie was really good. How ever there was some poor acting. I'm not going to spoil anything for you all but see it anyways. Very dark film style almost reminded me of a well I can't describe it. Lots of blood. Go see it for the blood not the acting. Who ever played the king did a great job. Other than that the acting could have been better I would give this movie 3 1/2 stars if I was a critic. It's going to be number 1 for a while and expect to see this one in the theater almost as long as "cars" was in the theater for. Today at work we had a shit load of people come in for the first show. How ever since there were a lot of college basketball games on it didn't get busy until I clocked out at 6. I am so glad I didn't work tonight.

It. Was. Awesome. I recommend seeing it. 300 has everything, nipples, ACTION, and no way parts. It has amazed me. 10/10. Only pansies will say it was not good. Don't be a pansy man.

I read the comic before seeing the film... maybe that was my mistake... I'd give the comic a 10/10 and the movie a 7/10.
The fight scenes were cool 'n all that, but the movie failed even to go along with Miller's "graphic novel". Those of you who have read it might know what I mean. I dunno, maybe I expected too much what with all the hype... but judging from Sin City I would've thought that the movie would be exactly like the comic book. Well, it wasn't...

It's like whatever was added so that the novel could turn into a movie was totally inconsistent with Miller's spirit. A damn shame if you ask me, because Miller did a fucking brilliant job with his novel, and he was probably fucked by the makers of the film.

Fool. It's based on the graphic novel and it was 700 Thespians, anyway.

However, this film only comes out on the 23rd March over here in the UK...and I can see it as I am 15! *cackles*
For once our film ratings got it right and were nice to us teenagers...

I saw it last night and, no lie, I had chills running down my spine for almost the entire movie. It's true, the plot could be a bit juicier, but it didn't need it. Sparta gets threatened - King has a moral dilemma - King Leonidas goes to war with 300 Spartans (of whom they are all incredibly jacked [muscular] and insanely good with spears/swords) - King Leonidas and his Spartans slay countless Persians in fantastic ways - Some funny parts, Nudity, Blood, Death, Heads being cut off, Limbs flying - Won't ruin the end.

Funniest line in the movie: King Leonidas asks his fellow Spartan (short blond hair) if he is fit for battle because of the wound to his eye and the warrior says. "Aye, I am fit for battle my King. 'Tis only an eye I've lost. Thankfully, I've got another to spare."

Something along those lines, I thought it was hilarious.

This movie was the best I've ever seen in theatres, GO SEE IT RIGHT THE HELL NOW.

Oh yea, It's my birthday. 18.
