personally im glad it was never released like that... if they had left all those extras in the game would have more bugs.. not to mention when the game was released it had some fairly high demands in terms of computing power this would have just made it that much worse... besides all video games offer glimpses of pre-release goodness to build the hype, the world is full of lies

Exactly. People bitched that BF2 took up too much PC resources even without the things shown in the pictures. Many of the pictures are concepts, not ingame. Imagine the 4 pages of complaining in here if they had left all those things in.
