i've thoroughly enjoyed (and still am enjoying) 2142. If they create a booster, I will buy it - and half you whiners will buy it and then complain about it.

I like that idea it could be like iron gator and the goal is to get to the controle room flip a switch to open reactor athen blow reactor. but u only have a cirten time limit lets say 10 min. the story could be sothing like the pac has built a new super titan capible of taking 5 eu titans at onece. the EU can alos have a titan but the pacs one cant move but right off the bat the pacs titan has no shields and will take 30 missles before it blows up or the core is destroyed first. but the EU's titan shiled can be repaird to give the EU team a chance to win. that would ownseymorebutts443 wrote:

i think they should have a special forces type map where one team assaults a larger version of the titan. like a vehicle named the Leviathan. maybe say 3x the size of a titan with capable flags inside. think the super star destroyer in comparison to a regular star destroyer.
It will be really cool, if 2142 has a larger Titan as MAP, so the two teams will be fighting to take control the last Titan...

Anyway, ppl seem to think the EU will have to escort the Goliath, while the PAC attack it using Hachimotos among other things.
That looks awesome, I'd love some more variety, the only thing I've really got left to play with is the drone surfing. But some new gamemodes/vehicles/weapons whatever would be gladly appreciated.

Like you get dropped in by pods and have to get inside grab a flag and keep going till you blow up the core. Damn it now I realy want a map like that. This game needs more modes anyway. Assult would be ice cool..

A better method of including new maps via expansion/booster pack is to let everyone have the map, but only those who purchased the said pack have the keys to the vehicles and the ammo to the new weapons. Instead of having 2 servers with Armored Fury or that other one.
Didn't BF2 also have a sort of sequence conquest mode? I remember playing a round where we had to capture points in a certain order, if we tried to cap others nothing happened.
