I had this problem in bf2, and a clan mate did as well, though both our problems were very diffrent. I had to run dxdiag, and change my soundcard accerlation down one notch, he had to put a custom entry in his bf2 shotcut giving his screen resolution to properly work with his DVI monitor. Both of us found our answers on EA's support page believe it or not.
