I did get close though on Road Rage. Had 7 K and 23 D
700+ no PH

I have over 500 hours and no purple heart....I don't leave mid-round if I'm doing poorly though. I don't think it's a bad thing if you have one, but like the op, I've been lucky. I liked to snipe early in my bf2 career, so that naturally gives you less deaths while I learned to play the game.
I'm just surprised I haven't gotten it on wake...there have been so many rounds where you have only one flag as either team and you can't go 2 seconds without dying.

As I get halfway there, I see the ground in front of me get torn up by J10 bullets. I stop and start baking up and the idiot tries to ram me but misses. As I made it up the South side of the airfield, I see the same guy running for the J10 he just lost. I run him over and feel a sigh of relief. Later that very same round, I got my first and only Good Conduct Medal. No Joke.

ha, actually I was playing sniper about a week ago and when I was done I noticed that my sniper rifle kdr dipped below 2.
