What to do is don't buy any. Steer clear of any stores. Stay at home for lots. Tell the guy at your local store not to sell you them. If you don't have them then you can't smoke them.
Don't buy any and bum them off your mates. Eventually they're gonna tell you to screw off.Eye-GiZzLe wrote:

In the sense that it's unattractive to you, that is good. But the fact that they're not trying to quit is not good at all.Eye-GiZzLe wrote:
nah it's not a good thing really. it's annoying as hell after a while.Gooners wrote:

Its going to be hard to quit if you are surrounded with so many smokers.Eye-GiZzLe wrote:

Im in same boat, most of my employees smoke and both of my roommates smoke. I quit on Tuesday 6.10... Ive not completly stopped, smoked a pack over the weekend, I was out on the boat with lots of friends drinking and having a great time. Sunday sucked after smoking, after a few days off. Still haven't had one since then, so Im doing ok.
I have smoked for over 15 years
I wont feel 100% confidant until I can say I havent smoked for at least a month...
Brush your teeth when you feel the urge. Do Push-Ups and crunches... you have to start your day with a whole new routine... Just do it and get through it

Have you thought of using the patches or nicotine gum?
yeah Im using the patch, help out tremendously. You just have-to-have the mental fortitude to get through those 5 minutes where your brain (by habit) tells you that you need to do something, like smoke another cigarette. You then have to delete that thought process and upload a new config file. As in do something positive to replace the negative...
Not a fun experience, so learn from me, dont smoke cigarettes!

Good luck ig, I hope you succeed.
the morning is the easy part for me. it's when and after i get off work that's hard. ive been chewing gum, hitting a bowl, drinking water, and doing curls/pushups when i get the craving. this is probably the longest i've gone (20 hrs) without a cigarette in a LONG time. keeping yourself occupied is the most important part.(T)eflon(S)hadow wrote:

Think of this every time you want a smoke.
