so if you played it when you were 5, does that make you 11 or something?
so that's what high graphics looks like in the palace on warlord

I've pulled my fair share of all nighters since I've been in college, for the exact same reason you gave.
My advice: some sleep is better than no sleep. You'll realize that about an hour or 2 before you have to go to class.

Is this after installing SF? If so, I've heard that people had to repatch after installing SF (1.4 full) and that fixed the problem.
37 deaths in one round in warlord? That is not something to brag about.
Eh, the MECs do stand a chance if they have a good Hind pilot and gunner, and maybe a person in the APC that knows what they are doing. If the chopper can get down the AA (from spawn) and the apache, it's pretty much smooth sailing from the point. All it takes from there are people to load up in the transport chopper and land anywhere on the ship. Hell, if your team can't even do that, the chopper pilot can take the flight deck by himself.[RDH]Warlord wrote:
Seriously though, if the US really defends, the MECSF don't stand a chance. One support in the stairwell going down, one or two in the rear for boats, and the rest can be spread around the flight/viewing decks. Only by one of these not being defended do I always slip in and make it a fight inside the boat.
This guy has it right. The SF choppers (Hind and Apache) both have very low TV views, and your best bet is to put the gunners view box about the same distance above the target as the havoc from it's crosshair.gene_pool wrote:
for SF choppers, put the gunner view box just above terh target,
I think a lot of the reason noobile gunners like to use TV missiles is because they think "missile" means "large explosion" when in fact the tv missile has a pretty small blast radius when it comes to hitting infantry.
So so so so so so so wrong. The Hind is beyond comparison when it comes to circle strafing. I used to be on the apache boat myself, but I put a lot of time into using the Hind and now I prefer it by a longshot. You learn to love the gap of the missiles, at least I have.DrunkFace wrote:
And the apache does it better.ThomasMorgan wrote:
The Hind is insane. You have no idea what you're talking about. The thing circle strafes like a fucking tornado.
tk's, suicides and team damage are included in that final number i believe
Christ, this game has vehicles for a reason. He may not be well rounded, but he's good at what he does.eusgen wrote:

i got a good laugh at this... guess i do pretty good when people start saying their stats are yours lol.
Just make sure to join a server of whatever game you launched if your computer isn't anything hot. I know my computer basically dies when I accidentally join a vanilla server while SF is loaded and vice versa.
that first one is my favorite by far, some crazy stuff in there. i'm still partial to ddr though, that pump it up format really is foreign when you've played ddr for so long
very nicely put together, good music and some nice moves
now for the question you knew had to come - keyboard and mouse or joystick? by the looks of it, JS. either way, nice job

talking with someone who knows the map on an empty server should get anyone foreign to this map caught up fairly quickly.rambo_killin_SOB wrote:
but when you first play on this map it is very confusing, although i have it mostly memorized now at first i always found myself at a dead end or a floor under the flag.teeW wrote:
love love love iron gator. many people that begin playing this map get confused and don't really try again to learn it. It's really a simple map - 3 levels, 2 flags per level, 1 staircase that takes you there for the most part.
the AA is bearable, easy to get around/kill, so piloting choppers is hella fun
in a couple words -
there's a first floor, lowest floor, fore and aft.
second floor/middle floor, fore and aft.
deck/highest floor, fore and aft (for the most part)
there is one staircase that can take you from the 1st floor to any other floor on the map. there's also a way to get to the viewing deck from 1st floor engine room aft, however it's a little tricky to describe in words.

This is not that bad of an idea, although typically the larger the squad - the more squad points. Would be cool if they did it proportionally to the amount of people in the squad, but still an interesting idea.
sooooooo untrue. songhua takes my vote, i mean the map name has "stalemate" in it!rootbeer73 wrote:

You're not alone. Happens to me everytime as well, and I think it may be due to graphic settings? Not completely sure, but I run everything as low as possible due to my crap machine. Anyway, I'm glad someone else shares this same wtf sentiment.ionescualex wrote:
Yeah, that's the problem I always get. And is it just me or does this happen to everybody; whenever I switch between machine gun/TV mode, say I'm switching to TV from gun, it will go to TV, back to gun and then TV real fast. wtf?
The gun may not be much weaker than the AK's and such, but it certainly feels/sounds weaker. I know when I use it, it feels like I'm shooting peas, and the damage just feels worse
Someone made a gif of that headbutt already? crap
I find nothing more annoying than driving an ATV, getting off of it near a wall and having it crush you. Same thing with the jet-skis, I come very close to clawing my eyes out when I run myself over
I'd have to go with the Apache simply for the tightness of the pilot's missiles. The Hind warms up to you in the long run though, and I love the quick elevation it can get, especially with the SF tv missiles being pointed down quite a bit compared to Vanilla.
