can I still play maps like Karkand and Sharqi?

Or once I get SF am I stuck playing those maps?

Will they all just show up and I can do whichever I want, or do I have to load one version or the other?

SF can only play SF maps, It will let you join regular maps but it will close sf and launch regular bf2 before it joins the server. When you install SF it is a seperate program install, it does not replace your original BF2 install.

Both versions will show up if you uncheck "Same Mod" optioin in the server filters option.
SF will show up as a 2 instead of a 2

Just make sure to join a server of whatever game you launched if your computer isn't anything hot. I know my computer basically dies when I accidentally join a vanilla server while SF is loaded and vice versa.

Plus, you get the second tier of unlockable guns to use in regular BF2... so im told.. not sure because i bought SF right after it came out, been a while... Finding servers for the game is really limited.... a hundred or so low enough pings..and Im very near major global internet junctions..
