How Do I? / How Can I?
Remove a print queue from UNIX
Answer
From the UNIX prompt, run smit.
Select Print Spooling.
Select Remove a Print Queue.
Enter queue name.
If you receive an error saying that the queue is not empty, but lpstat -r<queuename> does not show any entries, it may be necessary to rm all files in the /var/spool/lpd/qdir directory that have the queue name in the filename. Then, retry the process.
