It depends on whether or not I agree with the current conflict and administration. Currently, I'd be a conscientious objector and would outright refuse to be drafted.

I can't say I would be overly thrilled from being pulled away from wife, family, friends, and work. But then, that is the very reason I would be being pulled away, to protect those assests in some form or fashion. So in answer to the OP I would go, but not 'gladly go.'

Well someone died for them, and they sure died Dec. 7th 1941 defending this country from invasion. BTW WW2 soldiers that VOLUNTEERED for the military were Mostly comprised of educated young men. So many in fact, the govt was worried that there wernt going to be enough educated and skilled men left in the states to keep the country going. Again Kudos Kerry(Idiot).
