I disagree. First off, how do you define 'noob'? Someone at the bottom of the score list, with a terrible KDR? Bad stats? Or how they behave?

Right now, I'm halfway to First Seargeant. I'm not saying I'm the best player, but I consider myself to be decent. I help out my team, listen to my commander, and I don't act like an asshole. I don't TK for vehicles or force TK's. My ratios aren't that good, though my KDR is getting better, and my armor ratio is close to 2.

Of the ranks i've had: Sergeant looks the best by far IMO
Of the future ranks: Captain and 1LT both look nice. Major General and General are also nice. Getting my Master Gunnery and 2LT will be reward enough though

Hmmm........i love to be a Sergent Major though i am 2LT in real life in singapore.....anyway in US army ranks, theres a rank call specialist in between of sergent n gunnery sergent. Command sergent major in also missing in BF2. if only theres such a rank in BF2, i will love to have it

My favorite rank was Staff Seargeant, I got it in like a month, before the officer ranks were released. Those were my favorite times, because it was cool to see so many PFC's and Lance Corporals because it took long just to make it through the sargeants. It was fun taking weeks to earn each stripe. Then that one day I jumped from Staff Sargeant to First Sargeant in a 5mins because they added the officer ranks, wasn't much fun, and then I didn't appreciate the unlocks anymore. Still don't.

Sgt Major of the Marine Corps......does anyone know how to get that in this game? I know its possible but I dont know how. That out ranks everyone except the Comandant, at least in the real Marine Corps as far as respect goes.

I would have to go with R3v4n on this, i had an account in the top ten and i found that i had no problem jumping into a chopper as a gunner or being co pilot in a bomber but i sold it and restarted a new one and found that everything change and chopper pilot, bomber ect would dodge you like the plague up until you were around 1st Sgt

You can't judge a player by his rank, but usually the ones below Gunnery sergeant are very inexpierienced.
I'm a Gunnery sergeant myself and on IO I'm usually one of the best on the server.
