Am I the only one who takes great joy in exclaiming "We've regained control, good work men!" in Arabic?

You mean they say something when a grenade is near?! Good Lord, why have I never heard any of this while playing BF2?!Mj.Blindfisch wrote:
Ok,I don't speak Arabic but I was very close...I don't care about typos,as long as you know that when you hear "Poombala!" a MEC-handgrenade is close to your position all is well....Erkut.hv wrote:

what fucking crybaby, just put it so evry1 speaks english, jeeze.
I understand what they are saying lol, i am a chinese and i am used to the arabic.
For chinese Hit it means, Gan diao ta. Literally, it means, finish off the person. For GO, Go, GO in chinese, it means, Quick quick quick so the hanyu pinyin, kuai, kuai, kuai.

instead of this
”Whooda-ya Moosehead!”
“I need a medic!”
i meant this
"ANAL moosehead"
"I need a medic"
”Whooda-ya Moosehead!”
“I need a medic!”
i meant this
"ANAL moosehead"
"I need a medic"
Just use the option for EO voice over. Besides, how pathetic of an excuse is it to say OMGZ I didn't kill u because I can't understant Arabic!
Chinese "Enemy Infantry Spotted" = "Enemy Shaved Ice Spotted"
Chinese "Go, Go, Go" = "Kill Him"
Chinese "Go, Go, Go" = "Kill Him"
The arabic VOs is easy to understand.... I rarely look at the text messages when I'm playing MEC/China, and even on mods that have non-english speakers for that matter.
My HUD is in russian, so i really dont care
i play too much... i tjhink i can recognize what they all mean.. lmfao
Ya, I changed my voices to be in english. I wish they'd have an accent though. Whenever I'm USMC and I hear jibberish coming from the other side of a fence, I'm assuming to run from a grenade, now I always just hear "Grenade!" so I assume it's a friendly nade that shouldn't be near me to begin with. However, I'll sacrifice those few deaths to become more of an efficient team player.
I always thought when the chinnese ask for repairs it sounds like:
" THIS IS JODY, DON"T CRY!!!"
Listen for it next time....
" THIS IS JODY, DON"T CRY!!!"
Listen for it next time....
cherry bustin' hymen, baby. yeah.
Oedie boe lakkeboe wachieda - thanks mate ; sukere ma yoghum botter, graag gedaan !

When you've played long enough, you understand what they mean anyway.
my favourite is the PLA saying of "follow me"

i hate it that when you drop vehicles as the PLA you get a english sentence with a stupid chinese accent
I thought it was "Chowder" like New England Clam Chowder.....:XDR:.PureFodder wrote:
One of the MEC voice files sounds just like he's saying "Fodder", so I thought someone kept shouting at me using the in-game mic thing. Took me like two hours to figure that one out.....

The "Attack here" and the "Sssssssssssssniper" ones are priceless.

By the time you hit First Sarg, you know the meaning by heart. Its still gibberish, but you learn to recognise it.bluehavoc8686 wrote:
Unless you speak fluent chinese/arabic, you will always have to watch the messages and the map to be sure of important stuff.
