BF2S Forums How can I film myself in 3rd person?

whit 2 peeps it can then someone need to folo when he is dead u but alone i dont think so

You can use single player in a single player or local game.

on your own single player server type the console button "`"

and then type in "demo.recordDemo [videotest]"

this starts battlerecorder. when youve got what u wanted, type "demo.stoprecording"

then u go into bf2 folder >mods>bf2>and find the file (in this case named videotest)
copy it to the my documents folder under \My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\Demos
make the Demos folder if its not there.

then use a program like FRAPS (someone posted link b4). go into bf2 and find the bit with demos, and play it.

then just find ur player in 3rd person view, and record on fraps.

also, battlerecorder files from multiplayer can be downloaded off some servers if they run it and make it d/lable.


to not use battle recorder, u cannot have a 3rd person view of a soldier and be alive (hold c when dead i think it is)
u can with vehicles like jets etc. yet again, use fraps
