Thanks for the benchmarks of the WD Raptor drives. I previously wanted to buy a Raptor drive but i always wondered if they're really worth the money. I came to the conclusion that the difference between performance and money can't be that great.
Therefore i bought a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB, it was broken since the beginning and Seagate changed it to a 400GB drive without a extra charge.
Now take a look at the benchmarks.

Judge yourself if a WD Raptor's really worth the money. Especially if you only judge the 74 and 150 GB area the Raptor doesn't have a chance except in Random Access times.
