im not really talking about the car drop hackers mainly the aimbotters.

(i havent really seen anyone hacking, i just want to know what the general public thinks)

I really don't run across cheaters but on some rare occasion I will. Today(Sept 4, 2006), There was one guy who would not die at all. I emptied out my mag in my rifle and he is still standing. I can kill everyone else just fine. One thing is weird though, there were alot of people talking about this: people killing you with one hit in the head when they just turn around. Could be luck. Sometimes cheaters will ruin the game for me but they will eventually leave or an admin will catch him so I don't sweat it.

Its just a game anyways.

today i was on a 24/7 karkand server and our commander was hacking. he kept dropping multiple artilleries on our own team. I told him to stop TKing cause i hadn't yet realized he was hacking. then every second after that arty was put right on top of me every time i spawned so i left, quite pissed may i might add.

There were some hackers sprinkled here and there in BF2, but they were rare. I don't think they'll be a problem in 2142 any more than they were in Bf2.

Once the hacks become more available, cheaters will become a problem, just like every other free on line game. I have ran into more and more guys that are just really great shots, and the command hack.

To be honest, I find it hard to know who is hacking and who is not. They all kill me with relative ease. There have been accusations of hackers while playing (not me darn it), but that could also be people who are annoyed at being pwned. If someone wants to cheat, let them, I will still enjoy my own game and if it gets too annoying, I go to another server.

The UAV makes a good hacker equalizer. Sure they can see me coming around a wall or whatever. But i can also see where they are and which way they are looking with a well placed UAV. The game is also random enough with shooting that it's not instant death every time (like CS:S where you simply can't beat the hackers). Last the maps are big enough that you don't have to run into a hacker often. I think we'll be fine.

but the reason for me making this poll is because well, i was pretty uneasy and i wanted to see if in the community their seems to be a problem, but that dosent seem to be the case so ill stop fretting.

I found a hacker yesterday, I was on the Titan andI saw a guy crouching in a corner, so I went to kill him with by beloved Ganz, I shot him in the face mulitple time (I knew I was hitting because the crosshair was flashing), but then at once all my heal goes (I was at around 80) and the kill thing said he got me with a pistol, yeah its h4x.
