There is no knife unlock. As far as global unlocks - not kit related, you have Grenades, Sprint Faster, Sprint Recovery Faster, Extra Ammo in your Pistol, and Extra Grenade. Also you have 3 squad leader unlocks one is a squad leader beacon, a portible UAV type device, and I forget the third.

the knife unlock is simply a different looking knife with a dogtag hanging off the handle. you obtain it after getting your silver knife badge.
There is a knife unlock, but it does not extra/less damage, its only got a different skin. You obtain it by getting the silver knife badge.

there is knife unlock, it had a little dog tag hanging form it but i forget how you get it

there was a guy once he had another knife then the normal one :S it was so pretty
300 knife kills and you'll get it...
