Just cuz i have a good armor ratio doesn't mean i whore it, it took me 320 hrs to get that

you seem like a well rounded player, and you probably work well in a squad, I myself wouldnt mind an infantry only map. I hate it too when guys stand around waiting, i always take the cars.

The worst I saw last night was a commander waiting for the helicopter, of course we lost that round, and I gave it my best. What a shame.

Im sure u know, the next patch has an infantry only map. It will be interesting to hear what people have to cry about that map.

The only people crying about the Infantry Only mode are the armor whores.  If you say that it will turn BF2 into CS, get more than 30% of your kills on foot, then I will listen to you.

i vehicle whore alot check my stats and i still do good in infantry but i agree with bolvis the people that are gonna cry are the armor whores so yea i don't use armor much

edit* i always work as a team so it doesn't matter if i vehicle whore alot to me

Then listen to me, Infantry only is the cowards way out. It wont turn into CS, but it will not be BF2. There are countless FPS with out vehicles so why destroy the major difference about this game. It has vehicles in it so deal with it. Change to a kit where you can actually destroy the tanks. If you work in a squad so well vehicles should never be a problem because a good squad can easily distract, flank and destroy anything on the ground. The only things that are hard to take out are planes, But who the fuck is going to play Inf only on maps with planes?? there just way to fucking big to bother with.

It's not that i hate vehicles, its that i hate vehicle "whores" who just repeatedly get in them and rape the ever living crap out of a squad (hopefully they're working together). I think that vehicles whores should actually play BF2 like it's supposted to be played. With a squad working together, talking to each other. And with a commander that actually knows what hes doing and isn't wasting the artillery/cartillery on their commander.

If there were no infantry only mode coming, i would be asking for a limit on the amount of times you could get in the same vehicle. That way when those bastards run up to their tank/helo a little box will pop up and say "SORRY MOTHER F***er NO MORE VEHICLE WHORING FOR YOU THIS ROUND!"

and then they go "aww man what am i going to do now?" and then i would run up and leet-skeet on their faces.

Sorry if you don't agree with me but everyone has their own opinions

a couple things here:

1) the supposed "vehicle whores" that you speak of should be soley limited to the people that spawn endlessly on the carrier, for example, the whole round and will do nothing but wait there the entire time. you can't call somebody a whore because every time they get shot down they respawn to get the same vehicle back. whenever i get shot out of the chopper ill spawn back for it, but if i dont get it, ill find something else to do, no biggie. so lets get it straight what a vehicle whore is and what they do.

2) why are you so offended that somebody has taken the time to master a particular thing (flying the helo for example) and it is clearly what they do best and they only want to perform the best? get good at a vehicle and we'll see where you spawn every time.

3) Please call me a chopper whore. I love it. But then look at my stats and realize that my drivers have a ton of kills too, and my team points are incredibly high for my overall score. thats because Im a team player, even when im being a "chopper whore".  So, it is only greatly helping my team out, so why shouldn't i want to help my team out?

4) i suspect I will only find you in infantry only, IF it ever comes out. I will still be flying, so i suppose we will never meet on the battlefield. Fine by me. I have taken the time to learn something and to be honest im proud of it, and I will never be tricked into feeling guilty because of whiners like you. thanks. have a nice day.

Vehicel whores are part of the game I guess.

Buy a raptor and 2 GB of RAM so you're the first to spawn after the match begins so you can outrun them for the tank. Or just leave the game and go play the sims 2.

Its the dickheads on Wake who use the tank to get to the jet they are complete cunts!!!

i don't mind taking jeeps but if you take the tank then you probably won't get j10 first anyway...  so why bother?

Heck I have about 60% of my kills as inf ! Ok, so I dont have as many kills as everyone else with my amount of time, but that's not for lack of trying, it's because I wanted some repairs, heals, flag defends, captures etc. etc.

At certain points in your "carrer" you perform certain actions to get the points you need/want. For some people that means whoring a certain vehicle, IMO learn to live with it. You need 100 hours in an airplane to get your medal (and people want that one). But with only 1-2 planes pr side, usually with only ONE seat in each, and a lot of maps totally without planes, it's TOUGH to get it, and you HAVE to "whore" your vehicle to get your time and kills. Someone else posted something similar in the thread, and I can only agree. If you die, then you spawn with your vehicle and ensure that it goes back into combat. Anything else is inefficient (ok, with planes, there's usually a couple of people waiting, so you dont HAVE to do that).

As for the poster: Agreed, it sucks to be on the reciving end of an armor that's spawnraping. And with a LOT more armor than most other vehicles, it's what people do. It's safer, it's a good way to get points, etc. etc.

You can hate the "whores" all you want, but oftentimes, they ARE teamplayers. Sure they may not get as many heals, damage assists and ammo points as the rest of the crew, but trust me when I say that a good team of inf with an APC or an armor/transport combo can do a LOT of damage, and take a LOT of flags if they've got their minds set to it.

So take into account that you cannot simply accuse everyone getting in a vehicle of being spawnrapers, same as you cannot hate people for doing what's good for the team (getting the vehicles to the thick of the action). Trust me, you will KNOW that not getting the vehicle support is a bad thing the first time you notice that YOUR team is the one without vehicle support. In essence, relax and consider all the GOOD that the vehicles whores are doing for YOU. Simply hating them all is the equivalent of saying "I hate people who wear glasses" or something similar.

3)cause maybe some other people want to use that vehicle too

4)if you are "proud" of being a good heli pilot, u need to get some counciling as there are thousands of heli whores who pump there scores by having 60% of there kills in vehicles.
