people were talking about a salut to "skeetman68" on king county's thread and it didnt ever go to far.. i thought the salut was a very good idea and decided to make a special thread just for the planing for the salut if it ever goes on. so far we are planing a fly by with jets but do not have a map, time, or server in mind so suggestions would be helpfull. i will not be able to play on wed.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come. The more people, the better. We need to get everyone on TS so we can organize the fly-by. If you can't get on TS, we'll work it out somehow.

We should definitely use "BF2CWake Airshow" for the map.

They have 6 carriers full of jets with nice skins on them.

Hey thanks guys, I just saw this thread. That would be very cool if we could get enough people together. I have a TS we could all get on to organize it. I think Saturday would be a good day to plan for if everyone else could be there since some people live in other timezones. Thoughts? Should we make a sign-up sheet or something?

I think Wake Airshow would be a better choice simply because of the skins on the jets.

Whatever you guys think would be the best, chuy said we could get on his server...dunno if he'd load up another mod or not. I think just reg might be fine, there's 4 jets on wake. I think we should stick to what everyone already has installed so people aren't bothered too much to not show up.

You should get seven snipers to do a 21 shot salute right as the jets do a flyby. That could look really good in the hands of a good movie person. You'd have to do some practice runs to make sure it worked out ok.

LOL, Me too. that's why I was thinking to just use what everyone already has. 1.3 patch...unranked server (if possible, so no one tries to mess it up)
