if i was to make a huge aviator map, with like 30 odd planes aside, i would need to know some things...

1. would you lot help me test it/arange a time where we can all play it,

2. give me advice on what would be the fair planes to have a side.

on number 2's note, what planes would be best do you reckon?

mig v f16?

j10 v f16?

mig v j10?

bombers v bombers?

come on, speak to me...

oh yeh, also a name for this map wud be appreciated

1. Yes.

2. US vs. MEC, plane layout:

US: 20 F-18s, 10 F-15s, 2 F-35Bs
MEC: 20 MiG-29s, 12 Su-34s

As far as planes, the ,most fair would be the F-18 vs. The MiG 29, I'll help test it whenever if you want.

Also, perhaps change theskin to extremely contrasting colors so it's easy to tell the difference between frined/foe with 60 jets in the air?

Wake airshow is a good map there are enough planes for everyone and planes respawn within 15 seconds.
Oh and no j10.
Its a good map the EF heli is on it as well.

well the order of planes from best to worst is ..

j10 > f18 > mig > f35 (flything bathtub) i suggest f18 vs mig like kubra name of the map ...

As for the planes I say we go bomber vs bomber and other match-ups like that.

Or we could just have every plane/ heli that they have made And it would be nice if they planes would respawn in 15 secs like in AirShow

as some1 who's making 3 maps atm (a black hawk down 1, a island hopping 1 and a funmap) i do believe it you cant make new skins etc unless you want to make it a MOD of the BF2 rather than a MAP of BF2.

oh it is possible, you have to skin the planes, then put them inside the map folder or summut like that.

howdya think EF and AF models are made without making them dif mods?

i wish i could draw a pic man... just think.. big sqaure map ... an on 1 side have loads of u.s runways lined up .. and the same thing but mec bases on the other side the rest is water but there is a capable little island in the middle with a few bunkers to hide from bombings but loads of aa placements... =] it would be so cool
!! anyone like my idea?

o and dont forget in the middle where all the planesd meet and duke it out ... u could get 1 idiot to strap c4 all over hes plane fly it in the middle bail an blow =]

too hard, who cares, u have the lockon and asif not be able to tell camo green and brown from a white/grey...

This was basically the same plan i had for my Island hopping map except i decided to make it more serious and realistic. A link to all the stuff ive done so far with pics can be found here...

Take like an entire fleet of Carriers, one Island for the MEC/PLA, Make the F35b and the J-10/ Mig-29 somewhat made for each other, so that it won't be a J-10 heaven, and I would be playing there 24/7
