In a lot of ways the forums have shown an overall increase in the number of poor quality posts;
Left vertical column is number of shitty posts per hour. Bottom is one week spans.
Now, I seen a lot of high quality guide type threads, and I do not suppose that this pretends to be one. It is rather a set of definitions with appropriate linked information. To avoid confusion, whenever possible I will provide a example from an actual forum poster to go with every definition. My mission statement; to assist in maintaining a quality forum enviroment and to help noob forum users in avoiding some of the common pitfalls of posting, such as karma strikes, flame pictures and the ban. As the forums are like a aqarium, it requires frequent water changes to avoid parasites and disease. By this I mean that at the time of this posting there are 18642 total number of registered users. I guess that 2500 of them are banned accounts and another 2500 are back door banned users under a different name. So be conservative and say that there are about 9000 people who drop by this site.
At the time of this posting there are two mods online between 84 people online.

This is a example of lost restraint and the use of personal attack.
Pleonasm is the use of more words than necessary to express an idea. The word comes originally from Greek πλεονασμรณς ("excess"). A closely related, narrower concept (some would say a subset of pleonasm) is rhetorical tautology, in which essentially the same thing is said more than once in different words. Regardless, both are a form of redundancy.
Here is a example of gross Pleonastic speach;
"Xietsu 's pleonastic predilections and penchant for truculency is likely indicative of mental problems associated with his probable overall struggle with social skills.
The only thing I have done here is clarified misconception, and you somehow think I'm truculent? Regardless of my pejoratives, such a judgment is speculative supposition at best. The fact is that, in our modern societies, it is somehow deemed acceptable to consistently assume and presuppose.
There is nothing being proven, as everything is merely being wiped of dissuasion. By the eye of logic, that which is has already been handed justification. H'ennehwaez, this was a thread desiring nothing more than an answer of "yes" or "no". "

This is an example of forum spam. There is no relevance to the thread it was posted in, or to any other post inside the thread. Some guy wanting to be noticed and chimes in with nonsense. Aka asshatmaniaforsyplisMaxwelbr wrote:
