well sinse the americans just get raped on the ESSEX i think they should be given two APC's that are located in the flooded area of the ship, and i also think there should be 2 TOW launchers on either end of the arty island to stop the spawn campers with tanks on the beach. i think the LAV's would be a good thing to add because they would forward a bit more firepower from the sea and against the tanks,

what do you guys think?

They'd also get tank'd j10'd or Z10'd before they could get to land, they're terribly slow...WAKE HAS NO TOWS OR HJ's, this pisses me off.

I think that is a good idea except for the 2 tows the tows would make it too easy to kill anything on the beaches that way the APC can take care of everything. What I have found most efective with wake on the US is get in a get and bail out over the beach get into that bunker and cap the flag then people will spawn there and you can go for the airfield while the chinese are all at the front of the Island. +1 for the good idea.

Never really noticed that with no TOW's on Wake, but now you mention it, that would be a great idea. It would be balanced due to the snipers being able to pick off the guys manning the TOW's. Although, I do fear that the J10's will just bomb the hell out of the island even more since the TOW will show up in the jets HUD.
Sometimes, I also feel as if they need a second blackhawk for all the troops that spawn on the carrier. Just like they have on Dalian Plant.
Its not as if its a fighting weapon with the miniguns being next to worthless.

the obvious tactic is to all not spawn, someone fly over bail out
then join the squad spawn and leave so others can spawn...very effective

the apc's in under the dek would be either bombed or shot to bits and so will the tow just play as a teamget one guy to fly over the island bail and make him squad leader and voila you got 6 guys on land

i always wanted the us to have apc's on that map, i like the TOW idea. i was thinking that they two flag nearest the carrier should be neutral so that th pla have to work that little bit harder to keep the island. but anyone now knows that it just a jet trip to the airfield then bail to get the flag.

A few tows to defend airfield would be neat...

Else the only tactic is bailing from a jet on Chinese airfield and spawning in an entire squad, therefore taking away the chinese airpower...

All to often the jet jockeys will not give up their jet for this purpose thus ending the round for the US in a massacre.

Everything else except for the jet is too slow.

Rushing a RIB to the beach might work once from map start, and hide in the bunker and spawn a bunch of AT soldiers to take out the tank and rushing the left island flag...

i would like to see these things on wake
1.a tank spwn at every base
2.At least make the air defence on the essex effective.
3.Make it like AF where u have to wait 4 the plane to spwn right after the round starts

This is old but i find the J10 versus F35 to be the biggest issue.

also reduce the spawntime for the F35 donĀ“t understand why it should be that long compared to the J10

yeah, they REALLY need some TOW's on Wake... i mean, without that, you have to spawn as Anti-Tank... and then get pwned by a chopper before you can get a shot off on the tank...
