Damn, this has happened to me one too many times. About time to remap the parachute button. Looks kinda n00bish falling from the 10th floor wearing a gasmask instead of your parachute!

Its a shame you cant remap the NV or GM buttons to anything else.
I remapped the parachute to backspace, it proved really helpful, as it's quite big you know
I remapped to the minus key on the number pad top right side of keyboard. It's a quick jump from my mouse hand to tap that key. I rarely miss opening the chute now.
ive never done it and died, i have pulled out my mask first and then quickly my chute just in time so i can c what u mean
O the shame of falling off a roof and wearing a gas mask and having to put up with that raspy breathing for fifteen seconds. Thankfully i have a G15 with plenty of spare keys so have remapped the Para key
of course,if the enemy is REALLY eveil, they will have deployed gas at he bottomof it. of course, the paza area on warlord might be a good area to gas constantly. keep them from leaving the spawn point.
hmm I think it would be nice if EVERY unused key could be used for deploying a parachute... would have saved me from quite some of those gasmask suicides
I made the scroll wheel button my chute, works pretty well.
i just smash the whole right side of my keyboard hoping to hit it

I think my favorite one is when your a bit too close to the edge of a building and you shoot out your zip line, of course the recoil causes you to move forward (why not back???) and you fall to your death. Generally you arent expecting to fall and in a panic i have mashed the keys trying to get the chute, but the mask comes on.
This seems to have happened to me a few times on ghost town on the high up (more western) spawn point. You spawn in and know there is usually snipers on the north and south chopper spawn (or tower) so you cant stand there long. Try to deploy the zip line to the north or south fast and you get spaltted. The height there seems to be enough to kill you unchuted, but the fall is too short to get the chute out in time. Coincidence? or design intention? heh

That's why my 3rd mouse button is parachute.

I have para on 5th mouse button , so no probs for me... Razer ftw!
I just set my nightvision as V ( Change weapon slot 7 to v) And my gas mask is x. Parachute is Backspace.. as it bigger than 9 and easier to get to.

I remapped gasmask to left mouse scroll, very helpful.

I'm beginning to be glad I re-mapped my parachute key ages ago.my problem is runnign around on night-vision maps ( before the game starts) safe fromthe dangers ofnoxious gases( my night vusion doesn't work)
it usually happens to me as i am firing my zipline, the stand knocks me off the building and then I miss the shute as i plunge to my death. Sucks.
