Has anyone else had a problem with getting booted to the desktop after playing a round then changing servers??....I never had a problem before 1.3 and I am trying to figure out if it is a coincidence or my PC.
1.3 has greatly exagerrated the problem. have a look around, there are quite a few threads about it.

Yeah I have been having the same problem. I crash to the desktop every other time I jump into a game. It's very interesting, like clockwork.

yeah ive been playing a lot of singleplayer now but once and a while i go online but half the time it crashes
me too, though I tried playing today and the server reset on every map! I played a couple and then got too frustrated to continue. I didn't just change servers either as I wanted to play Sf and there are only two or three where I get a decent ping, and the others weren't up oh well - I hope they fix it soonTrollmeaT wrote:

yes ive been having that problem more since the patch. What could EA/Dice changed to make that happen?
i crash to desktop a lot since 1.3, tho.. its the only prob i have. maybe joining 1 in 10 servers will dump me
if im playing and getted kicked from a server for saying a naughty word like 'bum' or 'cotton' and then go back to that server it will load but as soon as it says join now it will crash to desktop - never happened before 1.3 - fucking patch (and im not one to complain about ea) but come on its a piss take it really is
x2 should fix nearly all the BF2 issues, if you still have problems after them 2 links.... give me a shout and I will see what I can do to resolve the problem.Skruples wrote:
