I mean I assumed the church exploited their missionaries. That's part of the deal isn't it? I am not surprised the church is hoarding donations since they are Americans after all. And I would never donate to a religious charity anyway. I wouldn't donate to the Catholic Church either.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Had a couple missionary chicks walk through the neighborhood a few weeks ago. It was pitch black evening, cold, windy, and wet. They were in (modest) skirts, and alone. Decades back my household got chewed out because we offered hospitality to other missionaries in the form of drinks during a scorching summer. Apparently it was distracting them from their free labor.
You shouldn't grow a liking to the exploitative Mormon church because of an ad. They don't even care about their own people beyond what it takes to keep them sucked in.

I like the message of the video though and people are even wearing face mask. In a country full of people who do so much to immiserate their fellow citizens, youtube ads telling people to be better people is nice. And yeah, their end goal is more teenage brides but like 9 out of 10 people who take the message to hurt aren't going to sign up for the LDS.
