stonehenge wasn't constructed by engineers, either, for your information. i've published a 660-page tome on stonehenge and spent half a year of my life reading about the fucking minutiae of the place, both in archaeological and mythological contexts. sorry, but you also can't claim that for 'engineers' at your whim.

it's funny that you can say 'hurr durr how can anyone insult engineers when you have iphones', whilst also sitting in a western society that is the legacy of 2000 years of christianity. there are no two ways about it, that almost everything that governs your family life, your values, your basic ethical presuppositions, has in some way been influenced by christianity. secular liberalism did not spring out of a rock. whoosh! over your head.

Have any of the Abrahamic cults built anything comparable with the pyramids?

Just think where we'd be if the jews had stopped whining and got on with it.

For a start we'd have more pyramids.
also jews did not build the pyramids lmao. i love that you think this is literal history.

remember when you claimed the jews had no rights to israel/jerusalem because they were from egypt? l m a o.

Can a meteor big enough to destroy Earth travel so fast we don't see it coming?

I remember seeing something like that on stack exchange. Setting aside the math, I think someone stated that a meteor from within the solar system would probably be moving slow enough to spot. Something showing up from the outside though is anyone's guess?

It's not that it would be traveling so fast we don't see it coming, it's that by the time we identified it and it's trajectory it could be too late.

We don't have telescopes beaming out into every direction. The NEOWISE comet was discovered 3 months before it's flyby. That should tell you something

they're also really hard to spot even when we do have telescopes trained on that patch of the sky. they travel extremely fast, don't have to be very big, and are not exactly light-emitting.
