Win 10 is alright. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put a giant search bar in the lower left hand corner but I'm not a scientist. I have yet to find a reason to use the multiple desktop thing. The expanded task manager is really cool.
I find my giant search bar to be super slow. Like, I click it to try and find a program, and it take 10 seconds before I can type anything in. 8GB of RAM, SSD, i7. Just don't work.

it lets me type quickly but doesn't ever find what i am looking for. it just waits.
If you right-click on the taskbar you can go to the Cortana section and either change the search bar into just an icon(like in tablet mode) or you can hide it completely. Also if you have a somewhat high quality mic, it can pick up and search for things you say a lot faster than if you just typed it. If she doesn't understand you or pick up anything you say, it gives a connection error though for some reason: "Sorry, the internet and I aren't talking right now"
friend of mine is getting married in san diego in a few weeks so I gotta shell out money to go to that. He's not from there, nor is his family, he just wants to get married there and make us pay tons of money. And another friend just announced he's getting married in hawaii next summer. Same deal, no ties to the islands, just wants to make us pay.

zoo isn't a short cab ride. From gas lamp it's probably 30 mins or so (balboa park is fucking huge and there's always a lot of traffic unless you're going on a weekday morning). Balboa Park in general is pretty sweet. They have a pretty cool Air and Space museum that has one of the Apollo lunar modules in it. The Fleet Science museum is a pretty cool interactive spot. Gas Lamp is a cool spot to go out to bars and shit, and yeah, everything there is within walking distance. Avoid Sea World at all costs. If you have time and can get transportation, La Jolla is a pretty cool spot. I was just down there with a lady friend and we went kayaking by the sea caves and rented some stand up paddleboards, but it's not doable if you don't have at least a half a day and transportation. The beach in general there is pretty nice, but so are most of the beaches in SD. The USS Midway is also not too far. It's a pretty cool museum too.

We're also going on wednesday so hopefully it won't be weekend-busy.

Thanks but as of now my days are almost full. I need stuff thats two or three hours at most. Sounds fun though, never been deep sea fishing.
