Well, for starters, Jay Cutler wasn't fully recovered as he claimed. Throughout the entire game, you could see that he was still suffering from his injury. Marc Trestman didn't have McCown take over until there was less than 2 minutes left despite Cutler's poor performance throughout the entire game. The bears scored a touchdown after McCown took over and had a chance to make a comeback.Canin wrote:

Same thing happened a few years back, if I remember correctly. Dont quite remember if it was Cutler or Grossman at the time, but they came back for an important game after being injured most of the season. They weren't ready, and blew the game. I don't mean to be melodramatic, but it's something sports fans from the Northwest understand and fans from elsewhere don't quite get. We get nothing, from anybody, ever. No respect, no coverage, no wins, no trophies, nothing. Today we finally got a trophy. Tomorrow they'll talk about basketball and spring ball, and that's okay, but today was our day.
