These? They're actually really not bad. A whole engine replacement cost me $1000, a full brake job on all four corners (with calipers) was $550. Don't know many cars that are cheaper to fix--even my MkIV Jetta was at least twice as expensive for the same parts.pirana6 wrote:

dang really? my buddy had one a few years back and kept having to fix it but the parts were outrageous so he finally just dumped it and got a GTI. says it still isn't cheap to repair but a lot better than his e30
My shitty lil van died about a month ago. I fucked off to Spain for a week, gave it another week on my return and went and bought a lil YARIS. 30K. 8 years old. £4k. Economical to run aswell. Not very good for dogging though, its too small

way out of budget and insurance will be expensive as fuck. besides i prefer 4 doors in the first place. A4's don't have coupes... A5's do and it's 10k more + 40% more on insurance. I just prefer sedans in general especially when taking people around and there's a ton of boot space too.
