i literally hate needles and there is no way i could ever inject myself with anything. my aunt was born diabetic and watching her do her shots at family occasions literally puts the shivers into me. i also can't watch needle-injecting scenes in movies or tv shows. trainspotting was one huge cringe for me.

i think you have a very strange definition of hipster. you seem to routinely confuse them with the 'broke artist' category, which is as old as the bloody renaissance, and the 'street junkie' stereotype, which seems rather incongruent with a young demographic that are blamed for gentrification.
