All I have to say on gun regulation/ban in an attempt to stop incidents like this, is that Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people with god damned fertilizer (and a few other compounds, none of which were illegally obtained). When psychopaths decide to kill people, they will find a way to do so.

Hollywood has been pushing the message for about half a century that angry outsiders can achieve fame and respect by shooting up dozens of people. Go to a video store and count the number films aimed at adults which don't have someone holding a gun on the cover.

Norway has strict gun control doesn't it? Didn't stop the dude from shooting up the island. England has strict gun control, no? Didn't stop that psycho taxi driver from killing like twenty people. Murder is generally high in the US, guns or otherwise. US murder rate is 4.2 times higher than Australia, almost 4 times higher than the UK, 2x that of Iraq FFS. You're level with Yemen and Turkmenistan.....

IIRC the UK hasn't had a mass school shooting since Dunblane. Certainly the rate has drop off. Australia hasn't had any since Port Arthur (having had 16 in the previous decade).Jay wrote:

I know that terrifies you, but people do really have free will and you might have to deal with other peoples bullshit from time to time.
