As long as he has a hidden blade, or two, I'll be happy.

tl;dr:
  • Longest development cycle since AC1
  • Twice the production capacity and budget of Revelations
  • Main character name: Connor
  • Thousands of unique character animations (none from previous titles)
  • New engine called "Anvil" allows for the depiction of thousands of characters in battle and highly detailed faces
  • Set between the years 1753 and 1783 some of which will be played in Boston/New York
  • Added ability to climb trees and mountains
  • Hidden blade will still be available
  • Target auto-detect instead of target-lock
  • On screen character threshold upped to 1000+ from 100 in previous titles
  • Can use enemies as human shields
  • George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Charles Lee will make an appearance
  • Features an open map called Frontier which will be 1.5 times the size of Brotherhood's entire map where 1/3 of the gameplay will take place
  • Can hunt animals for resources
  • Can kill people while moving
  • Can jump over wagons or slide under obstacles
  • Environment changes and so do seasons
  • Side-missions like hunting parties

I'm in the fortunate position to have played and really enjoyed AC2, and yet not burnt myself out on the series by playing brotherhood and revelations, so I'm looking forward to this.

It doesn't make sense at all snippers.  Ezio and Altiar are both from the Assassins, a real group which originated in the middle east and could have plausibly spread to the civilized nations of Europe.  Native Americans, however, have zero history from these areas and no plausible connections to the areas.  I mean, theres a tiny tiny chance you could somehow make a weak connection with native americans and 12th century Persians, but it would be a looong stretch.

On another note, I dont't care how much sense it makes, it's still an awesome area for the AC series to visit; i'm quite looking forward to it.

so awesome for a game based on parkour to go to a setting with pretty much only trees to climb.

it's like if mirror's edge was set in death valley.

iirc, places like Boston and NYC were quite large around the times the game is supposed to be set

Comeon miggers, can't you put your passionate hate of ubisuck aside and just try the game?

ignoring the dumb drm on AC2, it honestly was a really good game considering the industry was all CoD:MW2 when it came out. AC1 was good on paper too, but too much repetition. was refreshing to have quite a different but polished game come out though

I've been to historic places is boston. They're small wooden 1 story buildings, because they had to be heated by a central fireplace.

Victorian England would be good. Colonial America would be bad.
