BF2S Forums Patch 1.3 Comments?

I wonder if there will be a hotpatch.

Guilty. It's easy to invent plausible changes and the sources seemed to go in circles. The patch extraction claim came later as I perceived it. The first thread I saw was on totalbf2 forums and the OP said nothing about where it came from, only that it could be wrong. I know that wasn't you but that doesn't matter, I judge the info by its sources, not by who post it unless it's a mod or someone from EA/Dice.

I'll keep my critical mind, it's fair to ask for sources. Some kind of source should always be mentioned even if it can't be revealed in depth. I encourage other to be critical and not to believe everything they see as well. Don't you agree?

Not guilty as far as I remember. I prefer having a source when I post such info. Which post are you referring to?

I told you guys that the data was pulled from the beta 1.3 patch used to beta test armored fury. I've known about those changes for almost 2 months now, check all of the various war college ribbon threads I visited and hinted at them needing to play commander a lot more then just 50 hours.

WTF, the play button on the autorun screen is disabled!?!?!?!!

i'm downloading right now and i am not looking forward to medal requirement changes
i'm pretty close to meeting the original requirements for a lot of the medals so this will just sort of ruin that.

I'm thinking I need to repatch, because I'm getting no options for the co-op setting.

Well I cannot play at all now, pre-patch my pings were around 30-40  now I have installed the new patch I cannot join any server as my pings are in the high 500's! the only time I got into a server was shortly followed by a connection lost screen, the other times the game just seemed to 'hang' just after joining.

I am going to have one last go to try and play before I give up and patch back to 1.22.

Just downloaded the patch & have now installed it. I read all these comments plus a few other topics posted.
Now, whilst eating my dinner, I'm not sure whether I'm looking forward to starting up the game!
Will it start? Will I find a server? Will I get high pings?

Also, I was 50 odd hrs away from qualifying for the Combat Infantry medal. I held off on my Vet knife so that I could go after the Marksman medal separately. That has now gone out the window!

So, at some point this evening, I'm going in. But I don't know whether I'll be laughing or crying by the end of tonight!

man the browser is uber f*cked. i click on a server and it disappears or it changes name.. wtf? 1.31 released soon me thinks, i wonder if they even tested this one

edit: this only happens when u have it to filter by ping, it moves lowest ping to higher position, and now when u try to filter a specific map it f*cks up the browser and no map shows. You have to exit bf2 then load back up for browser to work.

Um....has anyone gone for the expert air and ground defense yet (as they no longer require time). That will be the first thing on my to-do list once I intall the patch. When I get on a server I will get marksman infantry medal. Then I will hop on Ghost Town and rape it up w/ my sweet ass Linebacker. Then I will get on Karkand as USMC, cap the Hotel, then switch to MEC and hop on the RPK74-LMG at the square and viola.
