Install the full version, the incremental ones are always fucked! I normally will perform a fresh install of bf2 anytime a new patch comes out. You can save all of your downloaded files from EA downloader to a disk and when you go to reinstall EA downloader you can just move those files over to the EA downloader CACHE folder and viola all of your installs are available for you to run. Hell you dont even need EA downloader to install that crap once its downloaded.

Looks like they fixed the F35.  It's almost back to when this game first came out.  Been goofin off with some guy using his joystick with the j10 verse me in the f35 and even with his tight turns my missiles hit the j10.  Also, I can still pull off the TV missile thing solo .  The chopper starts a slow fall after about 4 to 5 seconds.  The solo TV guys only have to make slight adjustments...like flying a bit higher if you haven't been already.

Anyway.

The J-10s missiles seems to have been nerfed - I hit a smoking f-35b and it didnt die.

I think 3 missiles however do the trick now - I'm not sure.

Took out f-18 with one missile?

Solo chopper is still easy, noticed no change except when you change to gunner seat, you still obtain missile lock.

ESSEX missiles seem to have improved a lot, especially when locking on the J-10, the range seems a lot greater.

One guy came into the server, got promo to Brigadier General then to General then left.


I also go Vet chopper, combat and marksman XD

I can't fire my gun! It's set to mouse0 (left moust button) but it won't work in game! Also, pressing S brings up scoreboard for me, but pressing it again won't remove it. I need to press TAB, or kit menu, to remove it. This is very buggy to me, so much lag between pressing buttons.

Anyone experiencing the same thing?

there seems to be a commander problem.

I and others applied tobe commander but no one got the job
i have the idea that u have to be there at start of roudn to become it.

Also me and others have had the msg that we got connection problems and the game freezes and keeps showing that msg.

although when pressing esc u simply go back to the menu and all u can do is dissconnect cause going back to the game shows u a frozen image.

Got kicked after a few minutes with a ping of 8965342. Must have come by post. The only other thing i have spotted so far is the server browser list is not displaying the names of the players on the server very often. Installed the full patch.

Try checking ur key settings, u might have to re-bind everything...... was like that a few patches ago where all my control settings were blanked by the patch.

It's the bug where if the US gets Airfield, then after a certain amount of time the artillery becomes US arty.

I thought it was supposed to be that way.

my mic no longer works. i hadnt noticed it when i hopped in a game earlier but playing in a regular server no one could hear me and i couldnt hear them but they had no problem hearing eachother.
