juicedefender probably. its a hit and miss depending on the phone, but i found it useful and bought the full version.
this lg optimus v is pretty impossible to beat for $60 new without a contract. only gripes i have are no camera flash and no notification led. would highly recommend it to someone who is sick of getting raped by contracts or whatever. virgin mobile ftw

I will be returning this phone(LG L55C) and getting a different one. I don't know if its the service or the phone it self but I am barely getting about 100kbps on data stream. A friend of mine who recommended the service(Straight Talk) has the Samsung Precedent and it gets 1000Kbps + speeds.(3G) The only apps I am running are web browser and or Facebook. Its takes ages to just load a basic website and including BF2s.com. I will probably go back to Sprint and get one their Android phones.
What are some good sites to check out android phone reviews? I'm in the market for one but have no idea what to get. I'll be getting put on a new line on Verizon and dumping my AT&T contract that just finished. I don't need a whole lot of features, but I'd also like something better than the bare minimum.

Kinda want my blackberry back. When I played music, lightly tapping the volume up button made the volume go up. Pressing firmly on the volume button made it skip to the next song. It was very convenient.

although i do have some mp3's on my htc desire i don't really use it to listen to music.
but just checking (using real player app) i can increase/decrease sound using the button on the side for sound volume and the app still allows me skip tracks backwards/forwards & pause while the phone is locked.

I use the music player ("Music") that came on my phone and I can change the volume with the volume buttons and change the track on the screen, while its still locked. I found that other players don't allow me to change the track on the screen without unlocking it so I stuck with the stock player.

Once android really took off and became a big name, the hero was useless. They simply stopped supporting it, which isn't what they promised, and just released new, better phones.
So i was stuck with that piece of junk and got to watch all the iphone owners and after a year or so even all the droid owners use their well working phones with apps and updates and all that sweet stuff

Video Camera 720p HD 29.97FPS 12Mbps
Sound is not that great for recording but it works. I'm sure I didn't do something right so it could just be me. Total size of video was 44MBs.
Overall the phone is good. 1GHz Dual core nVidia Tegra 2 w/ 1GB RAM and 16GBs of internal storage. I also have a 16GB microSD card I put in it for added storage.
