Gut feeling FTW. Random tunnels, yes, I do believe that is exposed diamond down there.
No, it's a dug-in Endercreeper (if you look into their eyes, they immediately teleport to you and explode) lying in wait for an ambush.
They have turquoise eyes, often mistaken for raw diamond ore.

so there was a cheeky creeper hiding in the upstairs of exchange, I got out before I set him off, but be prepared!

me n newbie were just exploring a huuuuuuuuuuuge cave system.

I found so much gold, but no diamond

We then lost all our equipment to a creeper/lava combo

Actually I did find diamond.

And I didn't lose my bread and torches, which would be more irritating to replace than diamond (which I have a stockpile of).

Placed another thousand surface torches (if it wasn't, it certainly felt like it), gradually spreading away from Exchange. Will call it quits on that when I achieve a 500m radius around my wood house.

If I did my maths right, with a torch every five meters, it'll be 40,000 torches. Or 4*(500m/5*500m/5) or 10,000 torches per quadrant. Of course with the sheer amount of water and already lit buildings, it'll be much less than that.

Thank you notch for implementing charcoal. Now let us make torches out of glowstone fragments.

Alright, so i've been keeping watch on Bukkit's webiste.  From the looks of it they are gearing up for 1.9 so in turn meaning 1.9 is right around the corner.  Just thought I would pass that along.

Naturn, what's happening with the market system? Is it in place yet?

No, its not in place.  I've been busy with school work and playing BF3.  I've got a final Thursday so i'm hoping I should be able to finish it Friday or Saturday.  I'm going to need some help from a few people to setup the pricing and stuff.

Of course I do, but what I thinking is coming up with a list of items that can be sold and bought from the server.  Another list for items that can only be bought from the server.  I also need to create a tutorial for how to use the trade signs.

About the trade signs, feel free to set it up on the second floor of the exchange.

Trade signs work 24/7.  You do not need to be present to my knowledge to trade something with someone else.  Kind of like a those posters for work or something on a billboard.

I'll try to come up with an easy way to price things.

Was thinking:

"{(inflation control multiplier)*[10*(rarity, 1-10) + 10*(difficulty, or steps taken, 1-10)]}+(sum component cost for any components over 3 rarity)"

...and multiply that by stack size. Should be pretty easy to set up this evening, if you want me to.

lol we can just talk about it in a group.  I would like to also advertise the server.  But, that will be up to jsnipy at this point.  He will be receiving the server sometime next month because of my bandwidth cap.

Is it dynamic? Can supply and demand be factored in?

Since it's a spreadsheet, it's easy. Inflation control multiplier. Say with all other figures, the price of an item comes up to $1000 game bucks, but you want it to be $2500? Input 2.5.
