Oh, well there were options there in the key bindings for it, that interview says they'll try and get it in for launch and if not it will be a high priority so it should have joystick support.

If it's there at release day then I'll forget that it nearly wasn't, however for now it's a reminder that this game was built on the ("jetless" for instance) foundation of BC2, a game which I really didn't enjoy.

That in general is my only real worry, that BF3 won't distinguish itself enough from BC2 for my liking.
