I think this game is good but it won't come close to BF2.

That game took serious skill and teamwork. BF3 looks like it's coming down to who has the drop on the other person first. If you're aiming at somebody before they aim at you, you win.

BF2 involved taking cover at the right time, knowing where med-packs were, aiming, weapon choice, etc.

To me it has to do with the damage the average gun does. In bf2, you could shoot 3 bursts of 3 rounds into someone and they were dead (not headshots). In bf3 all it takes is 2-3 rounds. In bf2 if you started getting shot you could turn around and assuming you had the skill/luck, you could dodge/find cover/shoot/kill the other person even though they had the drop on you. In bf3 if you start getting shot you might as well start deciding which kit youre going to use next because that split second between bullets is rarely enough to get away.

bf3 will be fun but i don't see myself playing for that long compared to most games let alone bf2

M416 spits out 750 RPM, thats 12.5 rounds a second. It takes 4-5 bullets to kill someone. Same as it always has been. It never took 9 rounds to kill someone in BF2, you were probably missing shots.

If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.

BF2 guns were pretty inaccurate with sustained fire. I liked that the deviation increased if you didn't pause, but in this game it appears to stop increasing after a while. I remember it took 4 rounds to the chest to kill somebody with an M16A2 in BF2. I doubt it's a much more drastic change in BF3.

BF2 had terrible hitreg remember? Combined with deviation it seemed harder to kill people. The hitreg in BF3 is bad on high ping, had hit markers come up 4x using SKS and people didn't die! On normal ping I've never had trouble like that.

I can't join a game. When I hit quick match it just says "Matchmaking ..." forever, if I try to join a server, no matter how many people are in it, it says "Server is full"
