Call me a luddite but I rather use the pen and paper. Physically writing down stuff seems quicker and makes it easier for me to remember.

I also have trouble paying attention to stuff on screens for extended periods of time. It's too tempting to do other stuff.

I rather type stuff out. I type 3x faster than I write.. literally. And I bring my laptop to my classes to take notes on, as well as writing articles.

It depends on the situation.

In most cases I'd rather have a pen and paper, but if I have to do a lot of writing I'll use my laptop as I can type much faster than I can write.

Pen and paper, I remember my notes a lot better when I do that.

I think the fact that it's not as fast as typing can be a good thing, at least for me. I have to take in the information that I'm reading/hearing and find a way to condense it as much as possible without leaving out the important details.

Congrats. Like me, you are a Kinesthetic Learner. Same deal for me; writing things down works best. Most of the time, once I've written it I can recall it (within a reasonable time frame) without even needing to look at the notes.
