If a vessel tries to break through our blockade on Libya what do you think will happen?

That is different to attacking buses full of civilians.

It's okay to board another vessel because you gave notification before hand.
Nice spin, Hamas Propaganda Minister...

When a blockade has been established and the world has been notified of the blockade, those attempting to run the blockade are taking certain risks in doing so. One of those risks is that they will be boarded and searched. Not attacked. Searched for the items the blockade has been put in place to prevent.

If you're attacked by said civilians when legally boarding the ship because it's trying to run a legal blockade? Sure. It's called "self-defense" and is recognized by every court in the world.

If I hit an armed soldier with a pole or tried to stab him I would expect to get shot.

Lol I love how you can call an act of war "illegal" We should have said that about poland instead of starting WWII "no sorry sir, you're not allowed to invade poland its against the rules"

Yet at the same time I'm sure you'll argue that Hamas is an illegal terrorist organisation. Even though it was democratically, peacefully and legitimately elected and recognised by the UN.

It is still recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN, IIRC, as well as most countries...at least Western democracies.

All the nations individually call them terrorists but when they get together they cant decide?

Hammas were elected so they're not illegal, there isnt a "world police" so legality is neither here no there. All that matters is international opinion and whether or not it is in their interest to make a fuss about it.

oh, so called "western democracies" can decide allright. the thing is, the world - and, thus, the UN - doesn't only consist of those.

This is why the US should keep out of the Israel-Palestine issue.
"The Obama policy of moral equivalency, which gives equal standing to the grievances of Israelis and Palestinians, including the orchestrators of terrorism, is a dangerous insult."
This is why religious fruitloops shouldn't be in government.
The Texas governor said his religious faith was a reason for his support of Israel.
What a well thought out policy - I believe in a sky-beardo therefore...

Looks like Palestinians have no right to live! Obama fully supports Israel!
Israel was created on Palestinian land! They also occupied a lot more land what they actually "got" from the UN in 1947.

Why all the hate? Why dont they stop all the agression? Israel should fall back from the occupied land!

Yes...why all the hate, venom?

Obama...like every US president since Carter (if not earlier) supports a two-state solution. As does the PA. As does Israel. As does most of the rest of the world (minus a few extremist holdouts). They just disagree as to whether this particular tactic is the best method to achieve that end goal. Fully supporting Israel on this is fully supporting a two-state solution...which is also supporting the PA's ultimate goal, as well.

Borders change based on geopolitical realities. That's why direct negotiations need to happen. Worked out really well the last time the UN just declared something over there, didn't it?
