I haven't shot the Kimber yet. It's a nice gun. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

I got screwed on my deployment. Got in country in January and they sent me home on leave at the end of April because I was single. Then homesickness really kicked in around August and there was nothing I could do. There wasn't even any R&R to Qatar

I got hooked up for r&r. I got article fifteened right before deployment so part of my punishment was being put on the r&r list last. my r&r window fell between december 18th till like the first week of january so I was able to spend christmas and newyears at home. my dumb ass actually went to killeen for a few days early to see some dumb broad. we redeployed 3 months after i got back

I still say my flight back into BIAP after leave was the best rollercoaster I've ever been on. I've probably told the story before but me and this other dude managed to be the last ones on the plane (on purpose) figuring we'd be the first ones off. Well, the flight crew pulled us up onto the flight deck to sit with them for the flight. So we got a nice view of everything on the way up. When we got to Baghdad the pilot threw it into a near vertical dive and we dropped from 11,000 to 1,000 feet in less than a minute, 3G hard right turn, 3G hard left turn and boom, on the tarmac. Everyone in the back was throwing up while we were all yelling like excited children up front. That was fun
